I discovered Palm Coast in 1990 when my husband and I retired from our long time careers in White Plains, New York. Natives of Westchester County, we set out to find an uncommon Florida with activities and atmosphere more suited for young families and middle aged “Baby Boomers”.
I found what I was looking for in Palm Coast!
Once relocated I created Karen Hopkins Associates, a small human resource company that I operated for 7 years before I began to feel the pull for boating. On our 36 foot Luhrs we traveled for one year through out Florida and the Caribbean.
Too young to retire I joined Preferred Management Services and became the on site manager at La Grande Provence Condominium in 1999.
In 2004 I began my real estate career.
